FAQs

  • No, you do not have to be an SFIAC Member to book a private event. The SFIAC is available to rent to everybody.

  • Yes, SFIAC Members receive a discount when renting our available spaces. Members can also sponsor their family and friends, for a discount.

    • The Parkview Room features a large outdoor balcony and stone fountain overlooking Washington Square Park and Sts. Peter & Paul Church. It also has a gas fireplace and built-in bookshelves.

      • Accommodates up to 65 seated guests or 90 for standing receptions.

    • The Grand Ballroom offers a classically elegant aesthetic with a large marble bar and modern AV capabilities. 

      • Accommodates up to 250 seated guests or 350 for standing receptions.

    • The Gym/Court is a versatile space suitable for team-building activities like basketball, volleyball or workout classes.

    • Parkview Room: Room rental starts at $750 for four hours of event time. Add $250 for each additional hour.

    • Grand Ballroom: Room rental starts at $3,500 for four hours of event time. Add $500 for each additional hour.

    • Gym/Basketball Court: $250 per hour.

    We are happy to allow up to 2 hours of set-up time prior to the event start time.

    • Parkview Room: $1,500 food sales minimum and $500 bar sales minimum per bartender.

    • Grand Ballroom: $3,600 food sales minimum and $500 bar sales minimum per bartender.

    • Bartender: $350

  • All food and beverage items are subject to a 22% service charge and 8.65% SF sales tax.

  • The SFIAC offers gourmet catering, provided by our in-house chefs and wait staff.

    You may provide your own desserts for a $3 per person plating fee.

  • No, the SFIAC offers a full-service bar in our Grand Ballroom and Parkview Rooms.

  • No, but we offer validation for the nearby parking garages and valet services can be arranged.
