In this class, SFIAC Sommelier, Paul Robinson will explore 7 winemaking areas located along hillsides or mountain foothills. We will begin with a brief history of the mountain geography of Italy, highlighting climate and important soils, followed by a guided tasting of the wines. We will visit each wine in the glass, discussing aroma, structure and personality, and then reveal their origin and winemaker story.
Antipasto board will be served.
