Statuto Race, 1st Sunday of June

Historical Note: In 1865, Italy celebrated its first Constitution (Statuto) on the 1st Sunday of June. A running race was a major even in the celebrations. In 1918, the SFIAC continued this tradition in San Francisco. This race is on the first Sunday of June each year, an 8K run and a 1 mile walk.
