Ciao Belle,

Are you a woman of Italian descent or simply a woman who loves the Italian culture? If so, there is a new and fun-loving group of women who would love to welcome you to the one and only Italian women's club in San Francisco, Le Donne d'Italia!

This club is a new organization set to receive 501c7 status in early 2011. We are a separate entity from The San Francisco Italian Athletic Club (SFIAC), but due to their generosity, we are lucky enough to get to use the SFIAC facilities and to partner with the SFIAC on yearly Italian events. We hold two meetings each month, one business and one social. The women in our club range in ages from 20s to 80s and our gatherings are always a beautiful mix of heartwarming recollections and young enthusiasm. We will also be offering a junior membership in January, 2011 for those women between the ages of 16 and 20.

The specific purpose for which the club is formed is to promote the preservation of Italian culture and the preservation of the Italian female heritage, to promote understanding and appreciation for Italian culture, to promote friendship and patriotism, to promote cultural and recreational events and other nonprofit activities for its members, or to do anything reasonably related to the above purpose.
